Meghana built Instagram Shopping from the ground up, taking it from 0 to 1 as the first GTM hire on the Shopping Partnerships team. She scaled and led the team responsible for merchant acquisition, integration, and success, shaping the product in collaboration with Product and Engineering. She personally brought the first merchants onto the platform and led market-defining innovations like Live Shopping, Creator Shops, IG Shopping Affiliates, and the launch of Facebook Shopping—establishing the blueprint for social commerce as we know it today.

As an Advisor to the CEO of eBay, Meghana played a critical role in the PayPal spinoff and the reinvention of eBay’s marketplace model. She spearheaded eBay’s shift from a pure marketplace to a managed marketplace, working with Category Leads and GMs to build a retail-light model that transformed inventory management, seller incentives, buyer retention, and merchandising. She also led Social Commerce initiatives, ultimately presenting her strategy directly to eBay’s Board of Directors. Today, both the managed marketplace model and social commerce strategy she helped develop remain core to eBay’s business.

Meghana was so good that Snap created a role just for her—as the first-ever Global Head of Brand Partnerships, she built and scaled a global team that helped brands, businesses, and creators leverage Snapchat at scale. She drove some of Snap’s most iconic partnerships, including New York Fashion Week and Coachella, and piloted AR Shopping and Snap Business Profiles, working closely with Snap’s CEO and leadership team. As the public face of Partnerships, she was the bridge between market needs and product innovation, ensuring Snap remained a powerhouse in commerce and culture.

Meghana doesn’t just advise—she builds, scales, and delivers results. She has worked with multiple startups and investment firms, serving as an interim executive to refine go-to-market strategies, structure BD & Partnerships teams, and execute high-impact product launches. For a Series A startup, she reverse-engineered a roadmap from launch timing to real-world activations, including partnership strategy, IRL activations, and product-market fit feedback—ensuring their launch wasn’t just successful but strategically dominant.

As the Director of Retail Partnerships at b8ta, Meghana flipped the script. Instead of following the directive to open more pop-up shops, she cut game-changing deals with Macy’s and Lowe’s, unlocking 800+ retail locations with zero upfront costs. This store-in-store model became 60% of b8ta’s total revenue, transforming the business and securing Meghana a spot on Forbes 30 Under 30. She didn’t just execute—she rewrote the rules of retail.
